Vishesh Sharma's picture
Short description:
I am a final year undergrad student, expecting to graduate in June 2019, with Majors in Information Technology and Economics and Management at Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi, India. Beginning my journey, I live in an Urban Village. When I passed out my high school, I started a coaching centre to mentor and teach financially unprivileged students. At the end of the year, I handed over the initiative to the locals and joined CIC, securing All India Rank 1 in the entrance exam. During the course of my studies, I interned at Nokia Siemens Networks, Villgro Innovations Foundation and Qrius, in different capacities to gain a wider perspective and understanding of processes. I also co-authored a research paper titled ‘Ethics in Business and Management: How understanding employee could empower the organisation’, addressing how cognitive dissonance and Machiavellianism could help empower an organisation's goals. With regards to starting up, I co-founded Legex, with an aim to build India's first doorstep Legal service provider. It dissolved as the govt brought its own initiative at a nominal cost to the users, which we could not compete with. Inclusion is something that is close to my ideology as in my opinion, unless every single individual in a society is able to exploit himself of his complete potential, the equilibrium needs to be balanced.
