Sibidongpado

Sibidongpado Shipwreck is believed to have sunk in the 11^th or 12^th century, during the Goryeo Dynasty. It was excavated in 2003-2004. More than 9 000 pieces of various Goryeo celadon wares have been recovered from the shipwreck, and materials recovered from underwater excavations are now contained in the Collection of the Korean National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage.

The Goryeo kingdom occupied the Korean peninsula from the early 10^th century to the late 14^th century, with excellent skills in ceramics; the celadon was developed there and then exported throughout the East.
