Folklore, Art and Music of the Silk Road and Central Asia

Keimyung University of Korea (KMU), the International Institute for Central Asian Studies (IICAS) headquartered in Samarkand, Uzbekistan and the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) in collaboration with Kyeongbuk provincial government of Korea organize a festival and concert on 15 - 16 October 2015 at the campus of Keimyung University in Daegu, Republic of Korea.

Moreover, an international academic conference on the Silk Roads will be held during this festival. Scholars from twelve countries will attend this conference and discuss Silk Roads’ cultural studies. Cultural events including exhibition, presentation of Iranian calligraphy as well as performance of Korean and Turkish traditional dances will be held as the side events of this conference.
