Mr. Abdul Muqim Afghan

Mr. Abdul Muqim Afghan was born in 1987 in Zabul province, Afghanistan. He has completed a B.A degree in political Science, Master in public administration and a post graduate diploma in United Nations and International understandings.

He is currently the general director of planning and policy at the Ministry of Information and Culture, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, as well as a member of Executive board of Afghanistan for UNESCO and ISESCO and Focal Point of Afghanistan for the International Network of the UNESCO Silk Roads Programme. He started his career with Ministry of Information & Culture as the provincial director of Information and Culture in Zabul province in 2012. Prior to working with MOIC he was freelance writer whose articles have been published in several online and print media outlets.
