World Press Freedom Day 2016

Zuliana Lainez Otero is a journalist and Editor of the opinion section of the digital newspaper Crónica Viva in Peru. Ms Lainez is General secretary of the National Association of Journalists of Peru and Member of the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Journalists. She also works at the Human Rights Secretariat of the Federation of Journalists in Latin America and the Caribbean, and as Executive Director of the Latin American Observatory for Freedom of Expression (OLA). Ms Lainez also worked as Professor of Journalism at the University Jaime Bausate y Meza in Peru.
