Dr. Timothy Lynch is Deputy Head of Junior School, British International School, Cairo (BISC). An experienced teacher and researcher, he is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). Tim is an active teacher (school leadership) and researcher - his recent published book is 'Physical Education and Wellbeing: Global and Holistic approaches to child health'. Previously he worked for British Civil Service in Education; University of Plymouth, Institute of Education (UK) 2015-2017; and as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education at Monash University (Australia) (2011-2015). Prior to that he was at University of Canberra and ACU National. Tim has twenty years teaching experience as a classroom teacher in primary schools, including Head of Foundation Stage and Key Stage One (English International School, Qatar) and Health and Physical Education specialist teacher.
