She was also awarded the title of adjunct professor from the University of Manitoba, Canada in 2021. Her research focuses on understanding the environmental risk and adverse effects of emerging pollutants in aquatic ecosystems. In addition to identifying and investigating the impact and toxicity mechanism of hazards, she develops bioremediation technologies to overcome these environmental issues.
