Andrés Morales, a.morales@unesco.orgIn October and November 2018, HackCR3A will be held in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, on different dates, but with similar objectives, bases and processes. The main objective is "to facilitate the development of technological tools and applications to prevent violence based on the principles of innovation, collaboration, scalability and replicability in the Northern Triangle of Central America."
The project "Reducing extreme violence of young people through the use of ICT in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras", promoted by UNESCO with the support of AECID, in partnership with Jóvenes Contra la Violencia and other national and international allies, will lead to the first Regional Hackathon for the prevention of youth violence in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, called HackCR3A.
During October and November Hackatons will be developed in each of the countries, so that young people can develop digital devices for the prevention of violence, in cooperation with Jóvenes Contra la Violencia.
