Aideen Quilty is Associate Professor in the School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland’s largest research intensive university. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Hons), Master’s Degree in Equality Studies (Hons) and a Doctorate in Education. Aideen is a Social Justice advocate whose interdisciplinary scholarship draws on queer, feminist, gender and spatial theories. She is currently Associate Dean of Social Sciences and Director of the nationally recognized Gender Studies Community University Outreach Programme UCD.
