Dr Beeshanga Jayawickrama is currently a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He is an expert in wireless communication technologies. He has made a global research impact by discovering innovative technologies to enhance various wireless communication systems such as 4G/5G/6G cellular networks, Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth, Satellite and underwater acoustic communications. He has published over 40 prestigious conference/journal papers and US Patents. He is the Course Director of Data Engineering at UTS, and he has taught numerous undergraduate and postgraduate Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering subjects. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge for the greater good of the society.

My doctoral dissertation examined the prospects of India's trade linkage with BRCS economies. Other areas that interest me for my future research stem from developing improved analytical models and methods for trade policy designing, evaluating, and upgrading trade models. At Kardan University, I founded the research domain. Professor Azzopardi is an economist and lectures International Economics at the University of Malta. Her main areas of interest are trade, the labour market, migration, social policy and small states.. She has conducted research for several regional and international institutions, including the EU, CEDEFOP, EIGE, the Commonwealth Secretariat, United Nations Research Institute for Social Development, and the World Bank. She is the Coordinator of the Migration Platform at the University of Malta. She is also the national expert on several EU projects dealing with gender equality. Her current two research projects focus on the future of skills, and innovation in small states. She is a Director on the Malta Development Bank Board and also a member of the Retail Price Index Advisory Board, and of the Smart Manufacturing Board.

Maria Gloria is Research Fellow at SOAS, University of London. Prior to joining SOAS, she lectured at the University of York and previously held teaching and research positions at the University of Exeter, SOAS, and the Queen Mary University of London. She remains Global Expert on Egypt and Tunisia in the V-Dem Project led by the University of Gothenburg and previously held research positions on British Academy and ERC-funded projects led by the EUI and the University of Glasgow. Gloria is also a nominated Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and affiliated to the University of Cambridge.

She is interested in themes of learning, socio-material practices, holistic building performance and adaptation of buildings. Having trained as an architect from India and practiced in the UK, her work has spanned from research, developing business processes, managing projects to technical building design. Her PhD research theorises the practices of adapting academic library buildings and her current research focuses on learning environments in the higher education sector. Her research around the DEGW archive explores the linkages between organisational practices and the built environment to help understand the changing nature of ‘work’.
