Dr. Syed Moniruzzaman is a senior lecturer at the Department of Risk and Environmental Studies and Centre for Societal Risk Research (CSR) at Karlstad University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Public Health from Karlstad University. As part of his research training – he has been affiliated with different universities and institutions, including Karolinska Institutet (Stockholm), World Health Organization (Geneva), and Southampton University (UK). His research focus has been injury epidemiology and global development, COVID-19, climate change, and health in Bangladesh.
