Oudom Hean is an Assistant Professor of Finance at North Dakota State University and a faculty scholar at the Challey Institute for Global Innovation and Growth. He is an applied economist whose interests lie at the intersection of regional economics, urban economics, and public economics. His current research focuses on the causes and consequences of diverging economic growth across urban and rural areas. He is particularly interested in innovation, minimum wage, and offshoring.
