PhD in Philosophy and PhD in Translation Studies. He specialises in theoretical and applied issues in accessibility and translation. He has held several positions, incl. Junior Research Associate (Oxford), Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow (UAB), and Ulam Research Fellow (Warsaw), has participated in many international projects and has extensive experience as an accessibility consultant. Board member of the Marie Curie Alumni Association, where he focuses on communication & diversity. He co-leads the ResearchAbility Initiative, the inter-organisation programme for researchers with disability.

Gian Maria Greco is an accessibility and human rights researcher with a strong background in consultancy. His work focuses on enhancing accessibility for various groups, including persons with disabilities, children, migrants, the elderly, foreign speakers, and language minorities. His expertise extends to media accessibility and human rights in South Africa. Gian Maria coordinates the Media Accessibility Platform, and serves as the co-chair of the CoARA WG on multilingualism and language bias, Board member of the Marie Curie Alumni Association, and ISE external policy advisor.
