Antwan Jones is Associate Professor of Sociology with courtesy appointments in the Departments of Epidemiology and Africana Studies at The George Washington University. As a sociologist, he writes and speaks on topics related to urban neighborhoods, population health, and racial & ethnic relations.
Dr. Jones conducts rigorous research to understand the relationship between where people live and a myriad of social outcomes - from chronic health conditions to the closeness that individuals feel to certain racial/ethnic groups. His research has received several awards, including the Young Trialist Award from Cardiovascular Clinical Trialists Forum.

Bernard B. Fyanka Holds a Ph.D. in History and Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos, Akoka Lagos Nigeria. He has published widely on strategic studies, arms control, and proliferation. He is the author/editor of Three Books ‘International Patterns of Small Arms Control: An Evolutionary Assessment and the Imperative for Strategic Control’ ; ‘Pre and Post War Health Services in Nigeria: A Chronicle of WHO Activities at the Foundation of Nigeria’s Health Security’ and Re-Imaging Violence in Nigeria. An alumnus of the prestigious University of Bergen Research School in Norway, Bernard Fyanka was also a 2020 Scholar in Residence at the Institute for the Study of Global Anti-Semitism and Policy (ISGAP) at the University of Oxford UK. He was also a 2021 guest Lecturer at Harvard School of Divinity, Harvard University (USA) for HDS 2048 (Pentecostalism Gender and Sexuality). He is currently the Editor of two journals; Humanus Discourse and AIPGG Journal of Humanities and Peace Studies.
