I have a background in climate, environment and sustainable development and have been involved in designing, implementing and profiling transformative and inclusive approaches to policy and practice for over 20 years. I have worked in research, civil society and the public sector, at multi-levels and across geographies (Africa, Asia, Europe) and economic sectors. I lead the Green Economy Coalition's policy work, which is centred on building a strategic focus on the supply and advocacy of policies and institutions for inclusive green economies, in partnership with our 50+ members. We work across the major policy themes of a green economy transition including financial system reform; tackling inequality; valuing nature; economic sector reform; and governance.

Jordan Panayotov's picture
Short description:
Jordan is focused on Health Equity as premise for achieving Sustainable Population Health which is the ultimate indicator for Sustainable Development (SD). He points out that all policies have differential impacts on health of populations, which if not properly assessed and considered can lead to growing health inequalities, thus impede SD. He argues that inclusive policies should be a normative goal and Health in All Policies is the right approach for operationalizing policies and investments in all sectors.
