Flowers Professor of Public Policy, Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience, and former Dean of the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University. Previously, I was James Roland Angell Professor of Psychology and of Epidemiology and Public Health, and Director of the Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity at Yale University. Our work is on food systems and equity and focuses on the intersection of food insecurity, obesity and overnutrition, agriculture, and environment. We are especially interested in moving from models of charity to models of justice in addressing food insecurity, food as a means of economic development, and community-driven solutions to food challenges.
