Introduction
Iulia joined the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2011 to work on inclusive development, social policy, and evidence translation into policy. Prior to her appointment to UNESCO, Iulia worked with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Indonesia and Moldova. Before joining the United Nations, she worked with the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX) and a number of regional organizations overlooking a large portfolio of projects on social development and third sector in Eastern Europe. Iulia holds an MSc in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford, following on from an undergraduate degree in economics.
