Environmental rights and legal expert with more than 15 years of professional development experience. Work experience in the Caribbean, Africa, Latin America and parts of Asia, on promoting environmental rights and democracy including a focus on the right of access to information, public participation and environmental justice. Special focus on support for environmental and land defenders and advocating for increasing civic space. I am currently Acting Director for the Environmental Democracy Practice in the Governance Center of Excellence at the World Resources Institute (WRI).
