Introduction
Arthur-Holmes is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Sociology and Social Policy, Lingnan University, Hong Kong. He is an interdisciplinary scholar with research interests in healthcare services utilization, artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM), resource governance, gender studies, ageing, and environmental sustainability.

He is a partner, Evidence and Advocacy, Cocoa360 and Director of Yale-Cocoa360 Partnership where Shadrack Osei Frimpong and I lead research on the Cocoa360's Farm-For-Impact Model (FFI) with professors from Yale School of Public Health. He has published over 40 journal articles. His articles on artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) seek to advocate for gender-sensitive on-site regulatory policies and safe working environments for women as well as provide empirical and policy analysis of resource governance in Africa. Also, his research provides empirical analysis on social innovations targeting sustainable health care financing in rural farming communities in the global South. He had previously engaged with international organisation like Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) in the capacity of research assistant working on Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) data of 105 countries in 2018.
