Mr. Alexander Hauschild is a UNESCO consultant for the implementation of ‘UNESCO’s Analytical Framework for Inclusive Policy Design’ in Cambodia, Indonesia and Timor-Leste.
He started his professional career in 2002 as a project officer with the Norwegian-Indonesian bilateral project ‘Quality Improvement of Education for Children with Visual Impairment’. In 2005, he became a partner of IDP Norway and technical Advisor for IDPN Indonesia. Since 2010, he works as a freelance consultant. His work gave him the opportunity to gather experience in working with bilateral- and multilateral donors and projects, NGOs, DPOs, governments, and the private sector in Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia, East Africa, Middle East, South America, Australia and Europe. His most recent assignment include among others an advisory position in the design team for DFAT’s upcoming Cambodia Vulnerable Peoples Support Program; the evaluation team leader of the Action Plan for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ); disability expert trainer for USAID’s regional training: ‘Nuts and Bolts for Designing Inclusive Education Programs in Asia’; and the development of a social inclusion policy paper for a DFAT’s most recent education program in Indonesia.
Mr. Alexander Hauschild holds a master’s degree in Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Bonn in Germany.
