Prior to starting my PhD, I completed a BA in Government from the Political Science faculty at Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) and then went on to study for an MSc in Public Policy from the University of Bristol. I previously worked as a Policy Analysis Officer for the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health Thailand. Today I serve as a lecturer in health and social care policy at Naresuan University, Thailand. My main research interest is in the area of policy relating to border health security, health equity and migrant health within ASEAN context.

My work is mainly concerned with the quantitative analysis of poverty with a focus on the early stages of the life course: childhood and youth. Recently I have been doing work on poverty measurement in Low and Middle Income countries, poverty dynamics and the role of the benefit system in supporting poor workers. I am interested in inclusive education - particularly inclusive pedagogy - and inclusive research. My background is in educating children and adults with learning disabilities, but in the book What is Inclusive Research? I tried to connect work in this field with inclusive research in other fields such as gender and mental health.
