I am currently working as M&E Lead at DMEO, NITI Aayog Government of India. I have 8+ years of cross-sector and cross-functional work experience across government, not-for-profits and IT consulting firms, in the areas of M&E, program management, stakeholder engagement, and policy engagement. Previously, as part of International Growth Centre (IGC), I was involved in research management, engagement with stakeholders, including state and national level government stakeholders, multilateral and bilateral partners of IGC, and other local stakeholders. I have also worked on a project that involved managing program implementation of a large scale RCT research study for an ed-tech program in Government Senior Secondary schools of Haryana. I graduated in MA in Globalisation, Business and Development from Institute of Development Studies,Sussex, UK. I have cross-sector and cross-functional work experience across research think tank, not-for-profits and IT firm. I have keen interest in working on research, policy and collective impact.

Kumar Das is the IGC Programme Policy Manager for IGC Bihar. He holds a B.A. (H) in Sociology from the Presidency College, Calcutta, an MA in Development Studies from Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex and MSc in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to joining the IGC, Kumar worked as Senior Technical Consultant for UNICEF India Country Office, focusing on Evaluation, Research, and Policy. She is also affiliated with the Temple Global Studies & the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies program. Stephen Sinclair is Professor of Social Policy and Co-Director of the Scottish Poverty & Inequality Research Unit (SPIRU) at Glasgow Caledonian University. His principal research interests are poverty and social security policy (particularly tackling child poverty), social innovation, financial exclusion and social policy Scotland. Among his recent research activities within SPIRU are a 3 year analytical partnership with the Scottish Government to support the delivery of the national child poverty strategy, and projects undertaken for the Poverty and Inequality Commission and the Edinburgh Poverty Commission. Some recent publications include a critical appraisal of Social Impact Bonds and the book Social Innovation and Social Policy: Theory, Policy and Practice (co-authored with Simone Baglioni). Stephen is a member of the Child Poverty Action Group’s UK Policy Committee and its Scottish Advisory Committee, joint Review editor and editorial board member of the Journal of Poverty and Social Justice, and a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.
