She has a PhD in Psychology (Clinical Science) from the University of Southern California, and an M.Phil. in Education and Psychology from the University of Cambridge. She is particularly interested in identifying factors that contribute to social disparities and developing interventions that promote equity.

Christina Dinar's picture
Short description:
Christina is interested in digital publics that are shaped by communities and develop their own rules for dealing with hate speech and disinformation (“fake news”). For her, this creates a digital space that is more diverse, more democratic, and also oriented towards the common good. Coming from a pedagogical background, she helped develop “digital streetwork,” which transforms existing approaches to outreach support services into a digital environment. from 2015-2019, she developed and led digital projects on anti-discrimination work online for the Amadeu Antonio Foundation and has spoken and written widely as an expert on solutions to Hate Speech. For Wikimedia Germany, she worked in community outreach in 2013-2015 to increase the number of new Wikipedians – she is currently active on their board and wants to see the public good-oriented Wikipedia getting more involved in the negotiation of digital publics. From 2018-2020, she served as deputy director of the Center for Internet and Human Rights (CIHR) with research on freedom of expression online and a focus on scholarship, policy, and practice transfer. Christina studied Social Work as well as Theology, Cultural studies and Gender studies in Berlin/Jerusalem and lives in Berlin.

I lead the Green Economy Coalition's policy work, which is centred on building a strategic focus on the supply and advocacy of policies and institutions for inclusive green economies, in partnership with our 50+ members. We work across the major policy themes of a green economy transition including financial system reform; tackling inequality; valuing nature; economic sector reform; and governance.
Chiara Marradi's picture
Short description:
I’m Chiara. I am an Italian living in the Netherlands. I’ve recently graduated in the MSc Strategic Product Design at TU Delft. I’m on the lookout for a position where I can contribute with my strategic design skills, facilitation experiences and enthusiasm to bring different stakeholders (citizens, public authorities and private companies) to collaborate. I believe Strategic Designers have the capacity to bring different stakeholders to collaborate and align on the same visions. We can help people and organisations alike to navigate through complex challenges by facilitating creative sessions and enhancing the strategic decision-making process. I see Strategic Designers as ‘bridges’ and facilitator of change, not only managing change but also identifying what kind of transformation is needed for a better society.
