I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of British Columbia and Hakai Institute in Vancouver, Canada. My expertise lies in science communication and outreach, coastal physical oceanography, observational oceanography and sustainable monitoring of the coastal regions. I am originally from a small island developing state (SIDS), Mauritius and I also have a passion in promoting capacity sharing between developed and developing or/and least developed nations.
