My research is grounded in Social Cognitive Theory, specifically in self-efficacy in Physical Education teacher education programmes. I am investigating the role of self-efficacy beliefs and self-regulatory processes in learning about healthy habits involving the school. The focus is on training school staff to develop a healthy school. The discipline of physical education assumes the role of interlocution and mediation with the school staff.
