Strengthening social inclusion in public policy in Cambodia

The project launch will take place in Phnom Penh on 4 October 2016, followed by a series of workshop sessions on tools for evaluating social inclusion in public policy.

This project focuses on strengthening national capacities to assess and revise social policies to increase inclusiveness and ensure the equal enjoyment of human rights by all, including the disadvantaged and vulnerable segments of population.

Security and equality at the fourth World Social Science Forum

The World Social Science Forum (WSSF) took place in Japan between 25 and 28 September. This was the fourth gathering of the Forum and the first time it has been held in Asia.   The main theme of the event was “Security and Equality for Sustainable Futures”. Over 1000 participants from 80 countries met in Fukuoka to debate various dimensions of security and discuss how these relate to equality and sustainability.   The Forum was a great success and resulted in: •   International and interdisciplinary exchanges of ideas

Inclusive education in Indonesia: from evidence to action

Indonesia’s National Working Group on Valorization of Evidence, a part of the Inclusive Policy Lab, has concluded its project on evidence and its use in inclusive education.

 

The project actors – knowledge producers, policy makers, and social actors – focused on specific concerns of availability, accessibility and use of evidence in inclusive education policymaking in the country. The work delivered:
