Kenneth Toah Nsah, popularly known under the pen name Nsah Mala, is a poet, writer, children's author, English<>French translator, teacher of English and French, and comparative cultural and literary scholar. In 2022, he earned a PhD in Comparative Literature focusing on environmental literatures of the Congo Basin at Aarhus University in Denmark. His expertise and research interests are wide-ranging and include: ecocriticism and environmental humanities; blue and energy humanities; education for sustainable development; the role of literature in tackling global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, and environmental degradation, especially in the Congo Basin and Africa; indigenous peoples and indigenous knowledge systems; Anglophone and Francophone African literatures; comparative cultural and literary studies; diaspora literatures and migration; minority literatures; environmental communication; the use of ICTs in education in developing countries; and creative writing; among others. He is also experienced in copyediting and proofreading. He counts numerous academic and literary publications in English and French. He has also studied literatures and languages at the Universities of Yaoundé 1 (Cameroon), Perpignan (France), St Andrews (UK), Santiago de Compostela (Spain), and the United Nations System Staff College - UNSSC (Germany). He trained as a teacher of English and French at the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) de Yaoundé (Cameroon) and has certificates in the use ICTs in teaching and global diplomacy from the University of Oregon (US) and SOAS University of London (UK) respectively. He has taken journalism courses from Reuters, Thomson Foundation and the YALI network.

I am Daniel Henry Smith from Liberia, West Africa. I am the founding executive director of the Teaching and Learning Center at the University of Liberia. I am also a PhD candidate in Education at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. As a teenager, I experienced Liberia's civil war and escaped on foot to Guinea where I was educated in a school organized by the International Rescue Committee (IRC). I went on to complete my studies at the University of Liberia where I was the student president. My academic research focuses on the extent to which international intervention in educational development in Liberia fosters or hinders innovation among Liberian educators and has implications for the effective collaboration between international organizations and local stakeholders in educational development.

Ana Paula Barreto (she/hers) is the Director of Transnational Birth Equity at the National Birth Equity Collaborative. She has a master's of Arts in International affairs and is a fellow of the United Nations Fellowship Program for People of African descent. Ana is a researcher on global health, race and inequalities with a special focus on women and girls. Ana has more than fifteen years of experience as a human rights professional, working in several counties of the Americas and Africa, doing innovative work on global health and reproductive justice. In 2018, she developed a project analyzing the intersection between economic empowerment and health outcomes of women and children in Ethiopia as well as the first “Black Brazilian Film Festival” in the African continent. She is also the co-founder of Projeto 111, a project that teaches young people in the favelas of Brazil how to use media tools to tell their own stories and disrupt police brutality through storytelling.

Emmanuel is active in research and research dissemination, with a growing research portfolio of publications, contributions to specialist research community, interdisciplinary research management, conference presentations as well as serving as peer reviewer for several top journals. He has had previous experience in broadcasting (as TV/Radio presenter) and webcasting, having worked with the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA Yenagoa) and the Confluence Cable Network (CCN, Kogi State, Nigeria) as well as the University of Strathclyde Student internet radio 'Strathclyde Fusion'.
