SHORT DESCRIPTION

The article 25-A of the Pakistan Constitution obligates "the State shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of five to sixteen years in such a manner as may be determined by law." Pakistan is struggling to meet this Sustainable Development Goal 4 set by the United Nations by “ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all" by 2030. In this regard, it must ensure one hundred percent access and parity to all boys and girls of the age of five to sixteen years throughout the country.
