Short description:
My work focuses on the socio-technical and cultural dimensions of natural resources, challenging the notion that these resources are inherently natural. The processes of investing in and divesting from raw materials have always been driven by people's pursuit of both financial and non-financial values. Drawing from relational economic geography and cultural anthropology, I use an interdisciplinary, whole-system approach to analyze the political ecology of global value chains, particularly concerning sustainability issues ranging from energy to ESG.
