Introduction
Yul Anderson is President and Founder of the African American Future Society. Mr. Anderson is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received his Master’s Degree in Future Studies from the University of Massachusetts.
Mr. Anderson uses AI to identify global, national, regional, and local trends that impact society and the government’s ability to deliver programs and services. The focus of his research is on Black American and African Futures, cultural integration, diversity, and inclusion.
Mr. Anderson is an Associate Fellow World Academy of Art and Science, a Fellow of the World Business Academy, a Fellow of the Futures Forum, and sits on the Advisory Board of Ethical Markets, Florida Fund for Minority Teachers, Inc., and Lifeboat Foundation.

Yul Anderson is a nationally and internationally known Futurist. Yul started his interest in the Future after reading Megatrends and Limits to Growth. He continued his study of the future while pursuing a Masters at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst). He continued using his futures skills while working for the Cities of Boston, New York, Miami, and Atlanta; the Sates of Florida and Massachusetts and the County of Alachua in Florida. Internationally Yul used his futures skills in Sierra Leone and Nairobi Kenya. Mr. Anderson developed the African American Future Society in 1995 and participated at United Nations 50th Anniversary Summit meetings. He was a member of the Global Commission to Fund the United Nations and wrote for African profiles magazine while covering the news story of the African - African American Summit meetings convened by the late Revered Leon Sullivan and writing for African Profiles magazine while covering the war in Sierra Leone. Mr. Anderson lived six years in Kenya working with parliamentarians and those seeking office in Kenya. He also provides consulting services to businesses in the US and Africa. Mr. Anderson is concerned about the future of Black America and Africa; and how futures connect the world. He has provided futures workshops and lectured at Universities, World Future Society, Blacks in Government, the National Forum of Black Public Administrators. and facilitated a workshop with the Millennium Project.
