- completed master studies in legal affairs at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, specializing in international law.; - been working in the labor regulative field, international criminal law, higher education and in the field of recognition (academic and professional) of qualifications. - currently working at the Directorate of science, Ministry of education, science and sport, Slovenia, as a legal and policy adviser in the field of science and innovation policy, including strategic planning and deployment of cohesion funds, territorial collaboration, state aid rules, international collaboration within EU joint programming and other transnational activities, as well as relationships with European Commission. - national contact point for EC Joint Research Centre, national representative to AG1 on innovation ecosystem in the EUSALP macro regional strategy and to transregional regional Vanguard Initiative. Currently her work is focusing on synergies of funds and integration of EU and national/regional funding ecosystems, fostering an integrative ecosistemic approach. - working on macro regional strategies, on national collaboration with EC and its instruments - EU TS3P, S2E project, policy support facility etc, integration of EIT – KIC’s and Vanguard initiative in the national/regional ecosystem and on promotion of importance of science for an informed and knowledge based policymaking.
