Introduction
Associate Professor, Massey University, Aotearoa New Zealand, with a background in psychology, epidemiology and public health. I conduct research on healthy ageing and wellbeing with a focus on brain health promotion across the lifespan and risk reduction and prevention of age-related functionality (esp. cognitive functioning) in later life. My work is interested in studying social determinants of health in relation to modifiable health and lifestyle factors for brain health to develop, evaluate and implement equitable public health policy from a planetary health perspective.
