Olivier Boiron is Professor in fluid mechanics at Centrale Marseille, a french public higher education institution specialized in engineering. He is, since 2014, the UNESCO Unitwin 651 chairholder for "Innovation for sustainable development".
As the executive director of the Mediterranean network of engineering schools and faculties (RMEI) he is involved in many programs and activities related to the quality of engineering education, student international mobility, student employability, sustainable development and more recently air quality in urban areas.
Prof Boiron is the head of the international Master's programme in Complex system engineering at Centrale Marseille.
