Introduction
Nizni did her Master’s from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Her work with Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences focusses on engaging indigenous communities in governance processes. She has worked with the UN on mitigating involuntary displacement and gender responsive planning & budgeting and with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Specialist. Nizni was part of Professional Fellows Programme sponsored by the US Dept of State. She was also awarded the Chevening Gurukul Fellowship for Leadership and Excellence hosted at University of Oxford.
