Mendy Shozi is an environmental scientist who works as a Researcher in Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WaSH). Her focus is Citywide Inclusive Sanitation, Policy, Circular Economy, Resource Recovery and Sustainable Development. She works at the UKZN WASH R&D Centre, a transdisciplinary research and development hub in Africa that produces next-generation solutions for global water and sanitation challenges. Mendy is a Young Water Professional and is the founder and president of the South Africa Youth Parliament for Water (a network of passionate youth making waves of change in the water sector).
