I'm an experienced educator and policy maker working with the Scottish Government. I work across the public and third sectors with a focus on digital, data and technology professional learning as Head of the Scottish Digital Academy. I'm particularly interested in digital skills development, capability and talent and with a focus on equality, equity and inclusion.

I'm an experienced educator with a background in learning and teaching. I'm currently the Head of the Scottish Digital Academy at the Scottish Government. I was previously a Lead Specialist for Professional Learning and Product Manager for Programme Transformation with Education Scotland. I've worked across mixed education and policy settings, beginning my career in 2001 as a secondary school teacher. More recently, I was Head of Education Services and Digital Learning with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland (ICAS) and a Senior Lecturer in Education Studies and Technology at the University of Glasgow. I'm a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and a member of the UNESCO-IBE Global Curriculum Network. My area of expertise is policy making, education, adult professional learning, technology and transformation.
