I have a background in economic policy, having worked at the Commonwealth Secretariat and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development in roles focused on development finance. I had a specific focus on climate finance and the Green Climate Fund in particular as well as a focus on Small Island Developing States, insurance products and the UNFCCC process. I have extensive professional and academic experience across Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. My work is at the intersection of climate change policy and finance on the one hand and social justice and inequality on the other. My Doctoral studies are funded by the Leverhulme Trust and I am based in the London School of Economic's International Inequalities Institute and the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change.
I am an experienced project manager with a track record of delivering policy projects, technical assistance programmes and data-driven evidence. I have strong quantitative data analysis skills and am trained and experienced in a range of qualitative data collection and analysis methods. I am a confident written communicator with a track record of producing policy documents as well as briefings and political communications. I am a strong oral communicator with a track record of lecturing, delivering public addresses and chairing working groups.
