Dr. Fledderjohann is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Lancaster University, and was previously a postdoc at the University of Oxford. She holds a PhD and an MA in Sociology and Demography from the Pennsylvania State University. Currently she leads the Food Security for Equitable Futures project, a UKRI funded Future Leaders Fellowship examining the consequences and measurement of food insecurity in Global Majority countries. She also has expertise in reproductive justice, infertility, and gender, and leads the social justice lens on the Digi-Age project on digital equity for older adults.
