I was diagnosed with Autism in 2017, and have been involved in disability community outreach as an Inclusion Ambassador with the Disabled Peoples' Association Singapore (DPA), where I have interacted with a large group of cross-disability representatives and individuals to learn more of the situations in different disability groups both in Singapore and overseas.
I was invited by Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) to take part in the 21st Asia-Europe Foundation Summer University on Youth and Disability, a two-week experiential learning journey and "innovathon" on the topic. Thereafter, I was hired by ASEF as an intern, and then Advisor on Inclusion and Diversity, the current role I am in.
I am also currently working with the DPA on Singapore's UN Conventions on the Rights of Persons with Disability Parallel Report 2020.
