Dr Jacqueline Lee Tilley is Research Fellow in the Society and Culture Department at the Institute of Policy Studies. She has a PhD in Psychology (Clinical Science) from the University of Southern California, and an M.Phil. in Education and Psychology from the University of Cambridge. Jacqueline’s research broadly spans two areas: (1) understanding how sociocultural context, such as social class, immigration, and ethnicity, influences risk and resilience in youth and their families; and (2) designing and evaluating interventions that improve mental health and educational outcomes. She is particularly interested in identifying factors that contribute to social disparities and developing interventions that promote equity.
