Dr. Dr. Jörn Lengsfeld is a German economist, management expert and communication scientist. His multidisciplinary background grants him unique insight into Digital Transformation as the formative development of our time and its impact on business, economy and society. Focusing on the strategic level, he is interested in the processes of analysis, decision-making and communication under the conditions of the Digital Information Age. Convinced that Digital Inclusion is vital for successful transformation he has conducted extensive research on Digital Inequality. In large-scale empirical studies, he has investigated the Digital Divide in over 100 countries worldwide.

Jörn Lengsfeld is a German economist, management expert and communication scientist. He studied Business Administration and Economics at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), area of specialization Finance, Accounting and Controlling, graduating with the Master equivalent degree of “licentiatus oeconomiae”. Again at the University of St. Gallen, he completed a doctoral study program in Business Administration and Economics with a focus on quantitative research methods. Based on a dissertation in the intersection of Marketing Science, Media Management and Controlling he was conferred the research doctorate “doctor oeconomiae” with the highest distinction. Furthermore, upon completion of his studies in the field of Communication Science, the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Erfurt awarded him the research doctorate of a “doctor philosophiae”, accepting his dissertation on Digital Transformation. Jörn Lengsfeld was a scholarship holder of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.
