Professor of Political Science at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Public Administration from Gazi University, Ankara. Beriş received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the Ankara University in 2006. He was appointed to the Department of Public Administration at Gazi University in 2002 as a Research Assistant. He was promoted to Professor in 2016. Beriş, served as the Deputy Undersecretary of the Undersecretariat of Public Order and Security between 2014-2018, and as the Vice President of the Police Academy since 2018.
