Francesco Sarracino is an economist working in the Research Division of STATEC. He holds a PhD in development economics from the University of Firenze (Italy). His work aims at identifying policies to make economic growth compatible with people's well-being and, ultimately, to pursue an inclusive and sustainable development. He also contributes to methodological survey research. His works have been published on journals such as World Development, Ecological Economics, Cambridge Journal of Economics, Oxford Economic Papers, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Happiness Studies, and Social Indicators Research.
