Dr Emeka Thaddues Njoku is an Assistant Professor of Global Security and Society at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. Emeka is an expert on international security, governance and social justice, particularly the impact of (counter-)terrorism on Society—civil Society, gender and sexual minorities— His research works have appeared in leading academic journals such as International Affairs, Studies in Conflict and Terrorism, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Development Policy Review, and an edited book volume published by Manchester University Press.
