Dr. Eduardo Jaramillo has an experience of over 25 years in public service. Over the past 20 years he has worked in the Ministry of Health, where he has served as Private Secretary to the Minister of Health; Director-General of International Relations; Director-General of Cooperation and Information on Addictions; Executive Director of International Operations of the Federal Commission for the Protection Against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS); Strategy Coordinator for Health Care of Migrants and Advisor to the former Minister of Health, Dr. Mercedes Juan, and the Minister of Health, Dr. José Narro Robles. Since March 2013, Dr. Eduardo Jaramillo was appointed Director-General of Health Promotion. He is currently a member of the WHO´s Working Group on Non Communicable Diseases.
