At Sunway University, I am Senior Research Analyst at the Jeffrey Cheah Institute on Southeast Asia. My research centres on social welfare policies for children and families, with a focus on the linkages between social protection and socioeconomic deprivations. In particular, I am recognised as a subject matter expert on the issue of child stunting. My work has been featured on print and broadcast media by the likes of Financial Times, South China Morning Post, The Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA), Malay Mail, Astro Awani, New Straits Times, and BFM.
