I’m an interdisciplinary researcher with special interests in sustainable rural development and natural resource management. I hold a bachelor degree in European development studies from University College Cork in Ireland and a masters degree in International development studies from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), where I focused specifically on natural resource and forest management. Ive worked as a Norwegian Peace Corp Participant at Sokoine university of Agriculture in Tanzania where I participated in research on rural development, innovative agricultural practices and sustainable resource management. Currently I am completing a PhD at the University of Sheffield on social protection mechanisms in Brazil and their social and environmental outcomes.
