Arijit Nandi is an Associate Professor jointly appointed at the McGill Institute for Health and Social Policy and the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Occupational Health. An epidemiologist by training, Arijit is broadly interested in the impact of public policies on population health and health inequalities. He Nandi holds a Canada Research Chair in the Political Economy of Global Health.

Arijit Nandi holds a Canada Research Chair and is an Associate Professor at McGill University. As Principal Investigator of the PROSPERED project, Arijit investigates the impact of public policies on population health and health disparities in a global context. He is broadly interested in evaluating the impact of population-level interventions on health using experimental and quasi-experimental methods, as well as their mechanisms. A former Robert Wood Johnson Health and Society Scholar at Harvard University, Arijit received a PhD from the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
