I am an economist by background. I hold 2 PhDs one in public economics from the university of pavia and the other in quantitative economics delivered within the European Doctoral Program at the UCL (CORE and IRES) in louvain la neuve. Expert in education and social policies issues on a large range of topics with professional experience acquired during long years serving in international organizations (First at the European Commission and OECD; and subsequently at UNESCO). Since my arrival at UNESCO I am Senior Policy Analyst where I am the thematic lead at the Global Education Monitoring Report.
