Prof. Dr. Anirban Das is presently with University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata as a Full Professor & Vice President of Innovation Council. He started his career as a software Engineer in HCL Technologies Ltd in 2007. He has completed Doctoral degree in ICT from NIT Durgapur in2012. Dr. Das is a Visiting Scientist of University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is the honorary Vice President of Scientific and Technical Research Association, Eurasia Research, USA, Fellow of Royal Society, UK, Fellow of Nikhil Bharat Siksha Parishad, Fellow of IETE, India, Fellow of ISRD UK and Fellow of Indian Cloud Computing Association, India. He has authored 11 books, 1 research project funded by DSP-SERB, Govt. of India, 75 patents (Indian & International) filed and more than 61 research publications mostly in journals and conferences of international repute. He has served as Keynote Speaker/ Invited speaker/ Session Chair in plenty of leading conferences of International repute (powered by IEEE, IET, Springer, ACM, IETE etc). He is the invitee as delegate from academics of several national bodies like, Confederation of Indian Industry, Indian Chamber of Commerce, NASSCOM, FICCI and EDCN. He is nominated in WALL OF FAME of myGov as “THE CONFEDERATION OF ELITE ACADEMICIANS OF IICDC” powered by DST, Govt of India, AICTE and myGov, 2019. He is the ‘Innovation Ambassador” certified by MHRD Innovation Cell, Govt. of India. He is having a blended experience of almost 15 years in academics, research and industry. His innovation was recognized as ‘Best Innovator” by IETE Head quarters, Delhi and got 2nd position in India International Science Festival 2021 at Goa. Late CDS Bipin Rawat Ji appreciated and recognized his innovation at Delhi, August 2021 For last 17 years, Dr. Das is actively working for the enhancement of Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) and diminishing the dropout rates of West Bengal. He is highly instrumental to create hundreds of young innovators with the mission of Self Reliant India.
